Overview of video

My music video will be for the suede's final track on the album ( there is a light that never goes out)

The music video will be heavyly inspired by morrissey's suedehead video and Ian Browns's Illegal attacks video.

The video will start pitch black and a light will come on showing a loft (no music) and James will come into the shot taking an old box of records. There will be a cut to a panning shot showing parts of his room to emphasis to the audience the character is almost stuck in the past with an obsession to retro things (eg smiths posters).
Then we'll see him opening a gate fold record to reveal an old photo of lighthouse to which he turns it over to reveal a message which reads "find the light that never goes out" ( then the song starts ).

Then there will be a long shot of him leaving his house cutting to shots of north eastern scenes. (the emphasis throughout the video being the more gritty parts of the north).

then scenes will show him walking past numerous gritty streets until he reaches a point in which there will be a close up on him taking an old brownie camera out of his pocket. Then he will take a photo of a north eastern landmark. ( like in the suedehead video ) you will see James take the photo and then there will be a cut to the still image he has taken.

This will continue with various other spots including panning shots and , the very common sot of  out of the car window showing North eastern, gritty scenery.

The next scene will pan in from a river then showing him walking along and asking an extra where the place (by the use of hand gestures) in the photo is to which they'll not know.

Then the next scene will be shot at penshaw monument, there will be a Shot of him walking towards, cut with different shots of the monument, then an over the shoulder shot showing the landscape.

then there will be a fade to him walking along the Pier and then a shot of him looking out to sea.

The last scene will be a tracking shot of the front of him looking up to which the lighthouse is revealed by an over the shoulder shot.

then the shot will fade out back to the shot of the record (at the start) revealing an aged character. Thus suggesting he was reminiscing about the journey he made
