second "rough cut"

I'm very happy with this cut and since the last video I have made many changes. The mian change being the emphisis on the editing. I have tried to cut the music to the beat thus leving a smooth change from one scene to another. This is seen at the scene at penshaw monument where I have cut five estabishing shots of the monument to fit together with the fast beat of the drum. This is effective and fits well with the video. Another thing I've added is the archive footage of sunderland winning the Fa cup final in 1972. This footage really fits in well with the contrast of the new footage and the old gives a graeter feel of reminising ( which is one of the main focuses of the video) .

  1. I still think the pay-off at the end happens a little too soon - it's still too flat. I think you need to make a lot more of the lighthouse. There are some nice cutaways you've added (you need a couple more on the beach), but you definitiely need more of the nostaligia/ archive stuff. I think you might want to go up to the Angel of the North or something, shoot some footage up there (maybe before the Stadium of Light, to set up the idea of North-Eastern landmarks?). You need to tighten some of the editing further and really try to hit the beat.
